★ Main functions:
● The master station has LED and LCD display: Chinese LCD and menu operation are used on the master station. Date, time, nursing level, sickbed number of calling party and system state will be displayed. There are 30 two-color indicator lights to display the working state of each substation.
● Setting the substation number arbitrarily: Each substation has its coding switch to set the substation number arbitrarily. The sound is clear without distortion.
● Nonstop calling: The master station can display several calling substations and memorize them; the substation can call the master station no matter the master station is in standby, talk or broadcast state.
● Duplex intercom: Duplex intercom is used between the master station and the substation. Hands free operations or handset operation.
● Voice dialing: The LED of the master station will flash when the substation is calling the master station with music indication. “XX emergency calling” will sound.
● Call storage: The master station will store the substation number automatically if no one answers the call at the master station.
● High-level priority: The substation with high-level nursing has the priority to call. And voice prompt will announce the master station and the substation on the line.
● Transfusion alarm: There is transfusion alarm interface on the substation. The substation will alarm the master station automatically when the transfusion is over. There are alarm, flashing light and voice prompt of “No. XX transfusion is over”.
● Three-level nursing: Special, senior and ordinary nursing grades can be set on the master station according to the condition of patient.
● Radio call: Radio emitter can be installed on the master station. The emitter will send the number of corresponding substation to the nurse wearing radio receiver when the substation is calling.
● Paralleling function: The master station has paralleling function. Four master stations can be connected on a bus cable. Therefore, multiple-management can be realized.
● Broadcast function: There is a music input port on the master station to broadcast and publicize to some or all substations at the same time.
● Group call and all call: The master station can call a few or all substations at the same time.
● Volume adjustment: The level of prompt and volume can be adjusted separately on the master station; two different kinds of volumes (day and night) can be set on the substation when the substation is calling the master station and the master station can shift the volume automatically.
● Alarm prompt: There is an alarm output port on the master station, which can be connected to flashing light and speaker.
● Corridor display: Digital and matrix displays can be connected to the master station; polite expressions can be played and bed number of calling party can be displayed on the screen. Time and date can also be displayed on the screen when there is no call.
● Net working function: The master station has 485-communication interface to connect to the computer; the calling substation number, answer time, intercom time and calling times can be counted when specified software is installed on the computer.
● Malfunction self test: The master station has start-up self test function. The system will test each substation one by one when the master station is powered on. The indicator light will blink once if the substation is in normal state. The LED of master station will lighten for 5 seconds in green if there is malfunction on the corresponding substation or no substation is connected.

3. Installation and Operation

 

1) Power supply connection
Connect the accessory DV36V transformer (no anode and cathode) to +/- binding posts on the rear of the master station.
2) Substation installation
将编码后的分机及防水开关背后的白、黑两条线全部对应并联到主机的1、com(或2)总线上，注意极性（广播或输液报警功能时，需另加一条两芯总线与外配电源相连接，如图所示：将分机背后的黄、黑两条线全部并连到一条两芯线上后再与外配电源的正、负极相连接，注意极性。注：30路主机带1-30个分机，只需外加1个外配电源；60路主机带60个分机，需外加2个外配电源，如少于30个分机时，只需外加1个外配电源）。由于本系统的所有分机均并联在一条总线上，因而可灵活接线，但应确保主机到分机的信号流经路线尽可能的短。布线完毕，用万能表测试线路，排除有短路、断路现象。
3) Display installation
There are two groups of connections of lounge display screen: One is power cord (+12V Or +18V, COM), another is data signal cable and power control line (A, B, Ctr). Connect the wires with marks (+12V Or +18V, COM) on the display to the anode and cathode of the power source (DC12V500mA  Or DC18V2500mA and DC14V2500mA included); Connect the three wires with marks (A, B, Ctr, COM) on the display screen to corresponding binding posts (A, B, Ctr, COM) on the master station.
4) Testing
A. Testing substation
Turn the master station on after connecting. The system will test each substation one by one when the master station is powered on. The indicator light will blink once if the substation is in normal state. The LED of master station will lighten for 5 seconds in green if there is malfunction on the corresponding substation or no substation is connected. The master station will return to standby state automatically after completing testing
B. Testing display
The display will self test for five seconds after the master station is powered on. All digital tubes will lighten on the display screen and will go out after self test to wait for the calling from substations. The matrix display screen will toggle display polite expressions and then display year, month, day and time to wait for the calling from substations.
5) Calling and intercoms
The master station will broadcast the substation number and the corresponding LED will flash in red when the substation is calling the master station; The LED will lighten in green after the master station has selected the substation. And duplex intercoms can be made at this time.
6) Group call or all call
Group call: Press the No. 1 switch on the master station for about 2 seconds to select No. 1-5 substations. Corresponding LEDs will lighten in green. Intercoms can be made to all selected substations at this time. Press the No. 6 switch on the master station for about 2 seconds to select No. 6-10 substations. Corresponding LEDs will lighten in green. Intercoms can be made to all selected substations at this time. By analogy, press No. 11, 16, 21or No. 26 switch to select No. 11-15, 16-20, 21-25 or 26-30 substations.
All call: In standby state, press the Broadcast key to select all substations. Intercoms can be made to all substations at this time (broadcast function). Press the Broadcast key again to cancel.
7) Broadcast function
Input audio signal from music input port on the rear of the master station.
In standby state, press the Broadcast key to select all substations. The unit can broadcast or play background music directly at this time. “Broadcasting state…” will display on the LCD of the master station.
